Italy- 2 Day Trip/ On budget

“ Want to go to Italy ?” — My friend asked me

“ Yeah?” I answered drawing that pizza in my head

“ for 2 days ?” — Me: “seriously?” And then our plan started !

The first tip to any trip you do, is to start to do an excel sheet that can save you time that you will definetly need there. We spent 36 houres in Italy in total to avoid the quarantine problems. We mainly visited :

1- Milan

2- Bellagio

2- Como

Day 1

We started from Antibes- France to start our destination by 2:00 pm. Below you can find the parkings also that we used.

The car costed us for 2 days 256 euro.

09:00 start 02:00 arrival parking Autosilo Diaz (3 euros/ hour)

02:30 Duomo di Milano cathedral — A must to go (5 euro entrance, more expensive if you want to go upwords)

  • Try Peck ( A traditional food shop)
  • Galleria Vittorio Emanuele mall (don’t think about shoping there ;) )
  • Piazza della Scala centre
  • Castello Sforzesco castle
  • For Lunch, choose one of these three restaurants:

Trattoria Il Cestino

Ristorante Nabucco

Sette Cucina Urbana

Then, buy go to Luini and buy Panzerotti

Finally, try the MAG Cafe coffee.

We went home. The best Part: valebrona Via dell’Oro, 13 22039 valbrona . I highly recommend this airbnb, amazingly beautiful and relaxing, and worth the money you pay.

Day 2

The second day, we planned to go Bellagio and Como since they are not far from each other. I highly recommend visiting Bellagio, to me it was way better than Como.

Here are the things we did:

  • Enjoy Bellagio : see streets (parking Parcheggio motocicli, Via Lungo Lario Manzoni, 26, 22021 Bellagio CO, Italy )

Then, reach Salita Serbelloni Via Giuseppe Garibaldi, which normally takes 19 min walking to reach the highest point in Bellagio. Then, we visited the Cathedral of Bellagio.

Nevertheless, do not dare to miss the he Tiramisu there ;)

Last Stop:

Head to COMO: (parking Como Parking Via A. Sant’Elia, 6, 22100 Como CO, Italy( 2.70 euro/ hour ))

  • Visit the Como Cathedral Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta-Duomo di Como (12 min by foot)
  • Try the Brunate Funicular Brunate Funicular/Piazza Alcide de Gasperi, 4, Como 5.70 euro /10 min. Very safe and you can have some coffee at the end of the Brunate.
  • Finally, had lunch in Terrazza 241, Via Borgo Vico, 241, 22100 Como CO, Italy .

Having short trips is sometimes confusing since you want to try the best in a very short time. I recommend doing the plan we sticked to as I find it cost friendly, worth the time, and most important, Amusing.

Ciao Amigos !
